Litany for North Carolina and All Areas Devastated by Hurricane Helene

For the peace of the whole world, for the stability of the holy churches of God, and for the unity of all, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and all the regions struck by Hurricane Helene, and for those in public service who labor for the common good, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For every city, town, and village affected by the hurricane, and for all the faithful who live in them, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For those who have suffered the devastation of this storm, for those still seeking refuge and safety, and for the quick restoration of their homes and lives, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For all rescue workers, first responders, and volunteers traveling by land, sea, and air to bring relief to the suffering, the displaced, and the homeless, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For Chorbishop Philip and the Diocese of the Carolinas, for the health and safety of all our parishioners and friends, and for their quick recovery from devestation, let us pray to the Lord. 

Lord, have mercy! 

For the swift deliverance from all affliction, wrath, danger, and necessity for those affected, and for their protection from further harm, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For comfort and hope to be granted to the grieving, healing to the injured, and courage to those in despair, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy!

For their deliverance from every peril, for peace and strength, and for the rebuilding of all that has been lost, let us pray to the Lord.
